just wanted to share some images of my gorgeous (if i do say so myself) new luxe covered matchboxes, just added to my handmade shop. i use my favorite found and vintage papers to reconstruct the boxes so they're sturdy enough to reuse. plus they're just pretty little boxes! you can also use them to keep change in, bobby pins or to collect little bits of nature like i do.
i'm fighting off a cold (colds in summer should be illegal, seriously) but i have plans for lots more craftiness this week. hope you had a lovely weekend!

These are very pretty...and you know what else you can do with them? put in a miniature accordion journal..I love doing that.
How beautiful, and unusual! My hands always seem too "big" to do this type of work, though I admire it tremendously. You should have seen me try to make little orgami cranes and boxes one year, with a neighbor who was teaching my children. TOO funny!
