now that i'm here, now that i'm falling to the sunlights and a song
thank goodness for the beautiful weekend, cuz this morning it's rainy and *dark* - blech. there's just something wrong with having lights on inside the house during the day. took a motorcycle ride to tryon state park where i found these amazing mushrooms, complete with that tiny slug (can you see it?) who was much closer to being cute than the huge, slimy yellow spotted slugs i almost stepped on. then yesterday a drive down the gorge to vista house and a hike along beautiful eagle creek. oh! can't forget a walk with the fuzzies (well we walked, they rode ;).
just put a bunch of fun new stuff up on mushroom & moss, including these pretty little lotus bowls. but for now, i see the sun peeking out so i'm off to start the day. hope you have a great one!

My boyfriend and I want ferrets! They look like such fun. Those mushrooms are so beautiful. Also, I have a set of white bowls that look very akin to your lotus bowls. I love the simple white, but those colors are so much fun, too!
omigosh! i despise having to use lights during the day. it seems so... artificial. i also don't like to run the ac all day for the same reason. give me sunlight and a cool breeze and i'm one happy girl!
