just a few things:

new vintage paper rolls up at mushroom and moss vintage, my favorite is black wings. or maybe the little flowers... don't forget if you click on the photos you can see them bigger!
abby and summer visited my big, messy studio the other day and both went crazy taking photos which you can see here and here. also abby did the sweetest post here. it's so fun to see my crazy collections through someone else's eyes. and it seriously thrills me to no end that other people seem to get as excited about my piles of crap as i do - !!! love it.
that's it for now, happy july!
just a quick post about another favorite book:
audubon's birds of america (1950)
containing 288 prints of audubon's gorgeous bird paints, it's literally a little art book. i've had urges to take it apart just so i can frame the prints and hang them all over my house. i'm lucky enough to have two copies, so we'll see!
ps - how excited am i about urban weeds, a new portland street style blog by the talented chelsea fuss and lisa warninger. so fun! and yes, i've totally been making more of an effort fashion-wise lately. you know, just in case... ;)
happy weekend!
the last year has been a year of changes to say the least. i'm at a place in my life that i never saw coming, but it's where i'm supposed to be. i wanted to share a few little things that really helped me in those confusing, frustrating, exhausting days when i wasn't totally sure everything really would be ok.
and the day came when the risk to remain in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to bloom.

even though things are turning out different from what i expected, i'm so thankful every single day for my blessings, no matter how small. i'm a lucky, lucky girl.
